Revista IBERC adopts a policy of free and immediate access to all its content, in line with its institutional commitment to broadening the circulation of scientific knowledge and promoting its use by the academic community, legal professionals, and society at large. Open access to published texts reflects the understanding that scientific production should contribute to the democratization of knowledge, the development of legal research, and the strengthening of qualified public debate.

All content published by Revista IBERC is made available free of charge, without access barriers, subscriptions, mandatory registration for reading, or any fees charged to readers. Articles, case law comments, book reviews, and other published texts may be read, downloaded, printed, stored, and shared, provided that the integrity of the work is preserved, authorship is properly acknowledged, the source of publication is cited, and the other conditions established by the applicable license are observed.

Revista IBERC adopts the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial license (CC BY-NC), which allows the use, reproduction, distribution, and sharing of texts for non-commercial purposes, provided that proper credit is given to the authors and to the Journal, with adequate indication of authorship, title of the work, journal, volume, issue, year of publication, and, when available, the corresponding digital identifier. Any use must comply with the limits of the adopted license and may not suggest endorsement by the authors or by the Journal of any unauthorized uses, interpretations, or adaptations.

Prior authorization from the authors or editors is not required for the non-commercial use of published texts, provided that the conditions of the Creative Commons license adopted by Revista IBERC are observed. Commercial uses, republications for economic purposes, incorporation into paid products, or any form of commercial exploitation shall depend on specific authorization, when applicable, in accordance with the applicable legislation and the license used.

Revista IBERC does not charge submission, processing, review, editing, or publication fees for articles, case law comments, book reviews, or any other academic texts. Thus, open access is ensured for both readers and authors, preserving the free-of-charge nature of the editorial process and the Journal’s commitment to the open, ethical, and qualified dissemination of scientific production in civil liability and related fields.
