The case Napster and its contributions to the brazilian Tort Law vicarious and contributive liabilities

Abstract
A reference at the turno f the New Millenium, Napster discussed here was a firm that developed a platform for broad acces to media, especially those in MP3 format. Due to this broad acces, there was the Napster case, in which the US Judiciary Applied the institutes of both vicarious and contributive liabilities. In Brazil, the Judiciary spoke with the Napster case When applying the mentioned institutes in a situation involving the civil liability of the platform developer for Absolute illicit acts commited by third parties.
