Tort law and Covid-19 within the scope of the productive chain The example of the textile industry and "fashion contracts"

Abstract
This article proposes a reflection on the impact of the new coronavirus on the Fashion Contracts, which are present throughout the creative and productive chain of the textile and apparel industry. Based on the economic impact that these contracts suffered during the pandemic, in Brazil and in the world, we seek to analyze the legal relevance and the consequences of the breach of a contract. Finally It also emphasizes the importance of the practice of renegotiation, based on objective good faith, and the preventive function of civil liability, as an alternative to compensation.
