Statute of civil liability of the conservator of real estate in Chile

Abstract




In Chile, a special civil liability statute applies to the real estate conservator established in the Real Estate Conservatory Regulations, which, without departing from the general statute provided in the Chilean Civil Code. We demonstrate in this paper that this official may be subject to actions that establish his civil liability in the context of his activity.
