Abstract

This paper, written within the context of Covid-19 pandemic, aims to analyze the extent to which insurance contracts may cover risks such as those arising from acts of God, force majeure or other unpredictable facts. Although insurance contracts are supposed to cover risks of whatever kind, provided that they are duly established under the policies, this assumption may not be as trivial as it seems, especially in multiparty insurance relationships.
