Revista IBERC, serving the editorial purposes for which it was created, aims to become a space for constant updates for the legal community that is interested in the study of civil liability.

Aligned with the purpose of the Brazilian Institute of Civil Liability Studies, the journal adopts an editorial line with a scope aimed at understanding the various interfaces of civil liability with other areas, whether public or private. And, based on this, the focus is to spread the study of the most varied themes connected to the understanding of the theme, with academic investigations carried out by the publication of articles by Brazilian and foreign authors.

Nor is it neglected to consider the importance of investigating the labor of the courts. With this in mind, each published issue presents at least one article of jurisprudential comment.

Equally important is the promotion of the disclosure of legal papers that analyze civil liability issues. Therefore, reviews are also received and published by the journal.

Another aspect of great relevance for Revista IBERC is the promotion of international dialogue. Therefore, works written in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, Italian and German are accepted.
