Abstract
Liability insurance plays a significant role in post-modern society, which is full of risks, but which are tolerated by the different users of products and services, in the name of full personal satisfaction, whose longing is for "happiness". Liability insurance represents, in this scenario, an effective financial mechanism for asset protection, maintaining those who cause damage unharmed, as well as offering an objective guarantee to those harmed that they will be compensated. There are various models offered by the insurance market, each with its own technical and legal specificities. This text interconnects all these aspects.
